This is a program where you can experience Japanese school culture firsthand. For one day, step into a school surrounded by nature and rural landscapes. You’ll attend classes taught by real “homeroom teachers” in an authentic classroom setting.

After arrival, you’ll change into a gakuran (male school uniform) or sailor fuku (female school uniform).

The day starts with morning homeroom.

First class is Shodo (Calligraphy). This is the traditional Japanese art of writing beautiful characters using a brush and ink.

Next, you will experiment with Kyushoku, which is lunchtime! In Japan, lunch is usually served by the students.

After you’ve enjoyed Japanese style lunch, you have a history class.

Then, one of the most exiting part, which is sport festival called Undokai. This is a traditional Japanese sports event where students participate in various athletic events, promoting teamwork and school spirit.

After working up a sweat during Undokai, it’s time for cleaning. In Japanese public schools, it’s common for students to clean the school and classrooms themselves.

Finally, the day concludes with a graduation ceremony where you’ll receive a mock diploma.

After the graduation ceremony, you can participate in the festival (omatsuri).
You’ll move to a gymnasium that’s been transformed to recreate the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese festival, complete with paper lanterns and a yagura tower. Dressed in a happi coat, you can enjoy classic festival games like shateki (target shooting), try your hand at taiko drumming, sample local sake, and snack on nostalgic dagashi (Japanese old-school sweets).

Now, time to go home and rest. It will feel like you’ve stepped into your favorite Japanese school anime!
