What is International Trade Award?
This award honors businesses that have shown significant and sustained growth in international sales. To win, companies must demonstrate impressive overseas earnings and consistent year-on-year growth over three years.
This incredible recognition celebrates the global growth of Mobell Communications Ltd, the parent company of Mobal, MobalPay, and Hanacell. Together, we’ve become one of the most trusted providers of essential services for travellers, students, expats, and long-term residents in Japan.
Representing Our Company at Windsor Castle
Our company’s Director, Kie Yoshida, had the honor of attending the King’s Awards ceremony held at the historic Windsor Castle.
The moment he arrived, the winners gathered around him. He greeted them all with grace, warmth, and remarkable patience.
When it was finally her turn, she told him about what we do and mentioned our charity. Then, he said, “Oh, that’s very good”. It was a truly honorable moment.
After that, Philip whisked her over for a photo with Princess Sophie, and she was happy to have a quick chat. When she mentioned Japan, smiled and said, “I’ve never been! I’d love to go.”
For the event, she wore a dress made by a garment project in Malawi, Africa, which we support to create jobs and empower women.
The ceremony was a truly special occasion, celebrating outstanding achievements from companies across the UK and beyond.
Why the King’s Award Matters
The King’s Award for Enterprise is the UK’s highest honour for businesses. It’s a huge honour awarded by His Majesty the King, recognising UK businesses that are leading the way in international trade, innovation, sustainability, or promoting opportunity.
